Being professional photographer needs to buy expensive camera. Digital SLR cameras are too much for me because of no skills and knowledge. Here is my candidates for cameras: Ricoh GX200, Ricoh GR Digital II, and Panasonic LX3.
Asking questions to those customer services help me to decide which camera I should buy. Customer service is very important for me. Ricoh’s customer support is very good. On the other hand, Panasonic’s customer support is terrible because no answer!!!! In my opinion, good customer support has good products.
For me, zoom may or may not need. That’s why I bought Ricoh GX200 from Recoh authorized store, PopFlash.Photo. The store is only online and they send super fast shipping. It also comes with 1 year Recoh warranty. Many of low price in eBay store come from oversea, especially Hong Kong, do not have Ricoh warranty in U.S. Be aware!
It is large box and large spaces. Not good for environment and eco.
What did I get?
The store offers special combo package.
Ricoh GX200 w/ View Finder Kit, LC-1, HA-2, 2GB SD Card, and Extra battery. I also bought Ricoh neck strap ST-2.
I do not know why AV cable is included. It does not need most of us. Look at USB cable. Its color is gray, but camera and battery charger are black. Why not they choose black color?
Auto Lens Cap is pretty good. When you buy GX200, you should buy it too.
Buying LCD protector does not have lots of choices because a few company sell LCD protector in U.S. Find eBay or Amazon. I can find Lexerd TrueVue Crystal Clear screen protector at Amazon. Otherwise, importing from Japan.
Method of Tie Ricoh’s neck strap is Nikon style. It is awesome. Who find out its style?
